MiChat - Enterprise GenAI Platform
Led the end-to-end development of "MiChat," a company-wide GenAI application allowing shared database chat and M1-themed image generation. Awarded the Google AI Trailblazers Innovation Award.
The Challenge
M1 Limited needed a scalable, secure Generative AI solution that could empower employees across departments to leverage AI for their daily tasks. The challenge was to build a platform that could handle document analysis, database querying, and creative image generation while maintaining enterprise-grade security and compliance standards.
Key Features
MiAI enables employees to chat with shared documents and databases using natural language queries. The platform supports multiple document formats, provides contextual responses using RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and includes an M1-themed image generation feature for marketing and creative teams.
The system integrates with existing enterprise infrastructure, featuring robust authentication, access controls, and audit logging. Built with a modern stack including vector databases for semantic search and LLM APIs for intelligent responses.
Technical Implementation
The platform leverages embeddings and vector databases (Pinecone) for efficient document retrieval. Natural language queries are processed through fine-tuned LLM models, providing accurate and contextually relevant responses. The image generation module uses state-of-the-art diffusion models customized with M1's brand guidelines.
Recognition & Impact
MiChat was recognized with the Google AI Trailblazers Innovation Award for its innovative approach to enterprise AI adoption. The platform has been adopted company-wide, significantly improving productivity and enabling data-driven decision making across M1 Limited.
An interactive AI-powered Sales Agent built on this platform was also showcased at the Keppel Technology Advisory Panel (KTAP) event, demonstrating the versatility and business impact of the solution.
